Ubuntu is Debian-based and thus shares Debian's architecture and installation mechanism:
•The "Preseed" installation file (preseed.cfg)
•The Debian installer
This tutorial describes the steps needed to remotely install the operating system (and applications) on client systems:
1)Prepare the Ubuntu ISO media from the command line, using scripts
2)Prepare the Debian media from the command line, using scripts to access a Debian repository
3)Prepare Provisioning Roles using the browser-based Graphical User Interface
4)Power up the Client System to be provisioned (Debian and Ubuntu clients must have Internet or local repository access)
Please refer to the Application Programming Interface (API) to integrate Cisco Server Provisioner's functions into your application.
