What are "Machines"?

 

A "Machine" is a broad term for x86-64/amd64-based computers, systems, servers, VMs, blades, hosts, PCs, laptops, appliances, devices, etc.

 

When the UG refers to Machines, it typically describes Registered or not yet Registered Machines can be or have been serviced by LSM from bare metal (pre-OS) as "Service Machines" or "Serviced Machines". Serviced Machine Requirements

 

The exception is the Machine with LSM installed on it, referred the "LSM Server Machine" when defining requirements, and simply the LSM Server afterwards. LSM Server Requirements
