Downloading Clonezilla prior to LSM installation for LSM Server without direct WAN/Internet access
The most recent LinMin-supported version of Clonezilla is automatically downloaded from SourceForge during LSM installation, provided the LSM Server has WAN/Internet access.
If your LSM Server has yum repository access but no general WAN/Internet access during installation, you can still install LSM after manually downloading the correct version of Clonezilla and placing it in root/ prior to installing LSM.
Use an Internet-enabled device, e.g. laptop, and download:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/clonezilla/files/clonezilla_live_alternative/20180812-bionic/clonezilla-live-20180812-bionic-amd64.zip
Current as of: 2019-05-15 LSM 7.0 Beta1
Then copy the Clonezilla file to your LSM Server and place it in:
/root
Then proceed to Install LSM
Upgrading Clonezilla on your existing LSM installation:
The Ubuntu Linux distribution used by Clonezilla is regularly updated with releases that contain new/additional device drivers. As such, it may be desirable to download a version of Clonezilla that is newer than the Clonezilla version downloaded during LSM installation.
