By applying the Chuck Berry Supplemental Package to Provisioner 6.5.x, Provisioner is upgraded to Provisioner 6.6.

 

New Capabilities for Provisioner 6.6 (Chuck Berry)

 

New Features:

Enables the provisioning of Windows Server 2012 R2 and Windows 8.1

oSingle method for provisioning Windows Server 2012 & 2008 and Windows 8.1 and 7

oEliminates need to use WDS, WAIK or WADK (everything needed is ready "out of the box")

WinPE upgraded with 2014 industry device drivers including UCS B-Series and C-Series drivers

Support for native 64-bit imaging: Clonezilla upgraded to 64-bit clonezilla-live-20140415-saucy-amd64

 

Enhanced Security:

Provides the "Provisioner Application GUI Access" that enhances GUI security by:

oRestricting Provisioner GUI access to a browser application window with no editable address and no tool bars

oReplacing PHP session management with server-side session

oChanging all form actions to POST method

oCreating an md5 digital signature for server-side session management

oAdding end-user configurable session timeout

Implements an iptables firewall with rules to limit access to Provisioner service ports

 

Enhanced Accessibility:

Flattened GUI navigation menu

 

Enhanced Supportability:

Improved system settings and history capture while generating a "help" file (incorporates the James Brown support enhancements)

 

April 2016 Update: After installing Chuck Berry, install the Bill Haley Supplemental Package (optional but recommended if you perform disk imaging, remote hardware capture or provision MS Windows or Windows Server).
