Ensure that your Provisioner PXE Server’s IP address is not in the bootp range (which defaults to xxx.xxx.xxx.150 to .200)

For MAC-Independent Provisioning: setup.pl generates new files in pub/ (e.g., kickstart files) that will include the values that you changed. Any changes you have made in these control files will be lost when you run setup.pl

For MAC-Specific Provisioning: the Provisioning Role Templates use variables that are not fixed until a role using the template is activated and the files in pub/controlfiles/ are created.

If you change the Provisioner PXE Server IP, you do not need to redo the role templates but you do need to toggle (Edit then OK, then Edit and OK again) any active (“Next-boot” and “Always”) Role to “Ignore” and back to the active state to create new valid control files.
