The Logs GUI page displays the contents of /home/LinMin/logs/LinMinMessages.log, itself an aggregation of the messaging output of all major relevant LinMin Snapshot Manager functions.

 

 

To clear the log displayed in the Logs GUI page, simply rename LinMinMessages.log and a new log file will be started and displayed in the Logs page:

 

# cd /home/LinMin/logs

# mv LinMinMessages.log LinMinMessages_pre2019-05-05.log

 

 

Note the sorting and filtering options at the top of the Logs page:

 

 

The buttons are self-explanatory. Try different options and click Refresh List!

 

Note: the list of drop-down items under each button is context-sensitive: only selections that exist at the moment in time you click a drop-down appear. When the log is empty, the drop-downs will be empty.

 

 

The GUI User can refine a search. In the example below, the User selected all COMPLETED transactions for MAC 00:50:12:7c:32:cc that occurred on 05-05 (May 5th):

 

 

Your browser's "Find on Page" function (Ctrl-f) is also available to help highlight log character strings (this function works on all LSM GUI pages):
