Copy the ISO file in .iso format to the Provisioner PXE Server.

 

# The location for your ESX .iso files is this pre-existing directory:

/home/tftpboot/ISOs/esx

 

# The location for your ESXi .iso files is this pre-existing directory:

/home/tftpboot/ISOs/esxi

 

 

The contents of the ESXi directory will look like this:

Note: your hardware may require custom ESXi ISOs that include the required drivers. For example, for Cisco UCS, you may need to obtain ISOs containing "_Cisco.iso".
